Chevrolet’s “Talking Concepts”

Tru 140S and Code 130R are 2 stunning yet stylistically contrasting concepts, both derived from input from young Americans. They’re being shown together at Motor Shows, lifestyle events and other venues, such as college campuses, where feedback will help to influence future concept development. And that’s why they’re called the “Talking Concepts”.

With both concepts, there is an emphasis on turbo-charged performance and fuel economy, making use of technologies like start/stop, regenerative braking and eAssist. We already know that mobile connectivity, clever storage and personalisation are key requirements for younger drivers, so these are in there too. And much more besides.

“Talking Concept” - Code 130R

The Code 130R is a 4-seat rear-wheel-drive coupe with an upright profile, a look that recaptures Chevrolet’s performance car heritage.

“Talking Concept” - Tru 140S

The Tru 140S is a sleek-looking 3-door, 4-seat, coupe.  Its “swept back” styling is designed to look confident, exotic, expensive and fast. Built on the same platform as the acclaimed Volt and Cruze models, this model is front-wheel-drive.
