Eligibility

You can apply for the Motability scheme as a driver or passenger, or as a parent or carer on behalf of a child aged three or over.

The scheme is available to people receiving one of the following benefits, who have at least 12 months’ award length remaining when they apply:

• Higher Rate Component of the Disability Living Allowance; or
• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement.

Special adaptations.
For those Motability customers who require a special adaptation to enable them to drive safely or travel in comfort as a passenger, special adaptations may be required.
Motability can provide a full list of available models suitable for special adaptations.

If you’re not eligible.
If you’re disabled but you don’t qualify for Motability, you may still be eligible for a discount. All Blue Badge permit holders qualify for Chevrolet Associate Rates – which means up to £2,200 off the price of a brand new car.
